Who we are
We have worked with AI in a business context since 2019, not as researchers or advisers watching from the outside, but as operators who needed results and did not have the headcount to get them another way. Our first AI-assisted workflow was not an experiment. It was a solution to a problem we could not staff our way out of.
Along the way we built and exited four AI-native businesses. Each one taught us something different about where AI creates real leverage and where it creates a convincing impression of it. That distinction is the core of what Pavost does.
The pattern we keep running into with other businesses is the same one. AI gets treated as a list of tools rather than a system with architecture. Each piece is optimised in isolation, the stack grows, and the gains never compound into anything structural. They do not compound because compounding was never designed in.
